A New Take on Holistic Engineering

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

How does your identity inform the way you 'engineer'? What factors keep professionals from bringing their own creativity and innovation to the table - and why do they exist? This session will look at how the engineering profession can enter into learning conversations across sectors and disciplines in order to rethink the role of engineers in the 21st century. Through this session, delegates will recognize and discuss the evolution of traditional understandings of the many "roles" of engineering in society -- both by investing in and understanding the human aspect of engineering work.
